An Introduction to the Major Competitions of Zhejiang University

Zhejiang University has established a diversified competition platform and system aimed at the sustainable development of majors. Over 140 major competitions in 75 categories are organized annually, with 5,000-odd students participating in competitions and achieving honors. So far the students have won top awards in domestic and international competitions, e.g. RoboCup, the International Genetically Engineered Machine competition, ASC Student Supercomputer Challenge, the ACM, Mathematical Contest in Modeling and Interdisciplinary Contest in Modeling, Red Dot Design Award, International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva, China’s “Internet Plus” innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.
