On Dec.1, the first “DongFangZi” National College Student Sericulture Biotechnology Innovation Competition was held in Jiangsu University of Science and Technology. There are 71 programs and 147 undergraduates and postgraduates from 15 universities such as ZHEJIANG UNIVERSITY, EAST CHINA NORMAL UNIVERSITY, SOOCHOW UNIVERSITY, SOUTHWEST UNIVERSITY and CHONGQING UNIVERSITY participating in the competition. After intense competition, students and teachers from COLLEGE OF ANIMAL SCIENCES ZHEJIANG UNIVERSITY achieved gratifying results including 3 special prizes ，3 first prizes and 2 second prizes in 10 entries.
