A number of teaching and research centers on basic courses are going to be set up in Zhejiang University for upgrading the teaching of basic courses and its quality. On December 2, 2020, Vice President Wu Jian convened the heads of teaching from the Undergraduate School and the basic courses in mathematics, science, chemistry and biology to discuss the issues related to the promotion of teaching and research centers on basic science courses.
The symposium made clear the major missions recently, so the Undergraduate School will work with relevant departments for the establishment of centers and the implementation of relevant programs, so as to effectively improve the teaching quality of basic courses.
