“Writing and Communication” by the Teaching Synergy Center of Five Universities in East China Unveiling a New Teaching Live Mode

On October 9, 2020, the inter-college live course “Writing and Communication” prepared by the Teaching Synergy Center of the five universities in East China was officially launched. The course aims at helping students improve their communication skills and writing ability through 11 lectures, creating a new mode of education and teaching with simultaneous live broadcast from five universities. The first lecture was delivered by Professor Ye Jiyuan, a Distinguished Professor and doctoral supervisor of Nanjing University. Students and teachers from five universities attended the lectures live in their schools and participated in classroom interactions in real time.

       The course, with nine outstanding lecturers from five schools in East China, aims at exercising the advantages of each school, training students’ writing and communication skills, creating a new characteristic curriculum, and propelling changes in education and teaching.
