It was of great delight to have been a exchange student in Georgetown University this summer.

Even though we university students had already had a rather good master of English, it was still quite challenging for us in an English-speaking country especially you needed to think and speak from the foreigner's point. Not only did we need to catch up with the teachers as well as the classmates, but also we were required to transfer these things into something practical in the following reading tasks. Besides, class participation did serve as a rather important factor in your assessment, unlike universities in China, your ideas' interchanging with the teachers will weigh a lot. The two classes I attended were named Principles of Marketing and Macroeconomics, Macroeconomics was not so demanding compared to the other, but Principles of Marketing did require a quite good command of English thinking and speaking which made the learning process was painful but rewarding.

We often wandered in the campus as well as outside the campus, Georgetown was a famous historical area, from where we could easily get access to the American customs. Still, given so many museums inn DC, we've got so lucky to visit them. Though time goes fast, but the memory in Georgetown University will be forever remembered.
