加拿大阿尔伯特大学提供2015-2016暑期实习岗位，加方网上报名截止期为2015年10月31日，我校拟推荐2013级、2012级五年制专业的学生参加。现转发邮件：
Dear UARE Partner Institution:
I am notifying all institutions participating in the University of Alberta Research Experience (UARE) program that internship projects for the Summer 2016 UARE cohort have been posted.
Participating students will conduct research with a faculty member here for 10-12 weeks (typically May 2 - July 22, but professors may be flexible), receive a $5000 stipend, and have the opportunity to join all our social and cultural events; i.e. trip to the Rocky Mountains, etc. This is a particularly excellent program for students in their 3rd or 4th year of studies preparing for graduate school. The deadline to apply is October 31, 2015.
Please inform your students of this opportunity and encourage them to consider applying to one or two of the projects listed on our portal. The link to the portal is found at the bottom of our program webpage:
Before accessing the portal students must create a use profile. To see the projects after logging in, simply click the link Add Research Internship Program Application and then Click to see "Open" postings. A list of all available projects will appear and clicking on any of the project titles will yield a detailed description of the project.
Please note: This year there will actually be two opportunities for students from our Chinese partners to apply for internships at the University of Alberta. We will have another application period in December that will be open to all students with pre-approval from the China Scholarship Council (CSC). I will send a reminder notification about this second opportunity for our Chinese partners closer to the date.
