根据国家留学基金管理委员会(以下简称国家留学基金委)与加拿大阿尔伯塔大学(以下简称阿尔伯塔)关于本科生实习的合作协议,2017年将选派30名留学人员赴该校开展科研课题实习。我校推荐人数不限。详见通知。
有兴趣的同学请在现代教务管理系统中报名,按要求填好有关内容打印申请表,并到院(系)签署意见,申请表于2017年2月28日前(含2月28日)交至紫金港校区纳米楼行政办事大厅112房间本科生院窗口。 拟定于3月2日上午9:00在紫金港校区东一A101室进行面试。请同学们于3月1日下午5点前上本科生院办公网查询面试通知。
因时间紧急,请同学们抽空上阿方网站及CSC网站了解必须准备的材料。
根据经验,CSC网站需要以下材料,请事先做好准备,3月2日选拔结束后,我们即会通知学生上网递交材料。

有关高校:
根据国家留学基金管理委员会(以下简称国家留学基金委)与加拿大阿尔伯塔大学(以下简称阿尔伯塔)关于本科生实习的合作协议,2017年将选派30名留学人员赴该校开展科研课题实习。现就有关事宜通知如下:
被推荐人应符合《2017年优秀本科生国际交流项目选派办法》规定的申请条件。
(一)具有中华人民共和国国籍,不具有国外永久居留权。热爱社会主义祖国,具有良好的政治素质,无违法违纪记录,有学成回国为祖国建设服务的事业心和责任感。
(二)品学兼优,身心健康。学习成绩平均分不低于85分(百分制)或平均学分绩点不低于3.5分(四分制);热心参加社会实践和公益活动。
(三)申请时年满十八周岁(1999年3月5日以前出生),应为指定的项目院校(名单见附件1)全日制在校二年级或三年级本科生。
(四)外语水平符合以下条件之一:
1.英语或法语专业在读本科生;
2.曾在同一语种国家留学一学年(8-12个月)以上;
3.参加“全国外语水平考试”(WSK)并达到合格标准;
4.曾在教育部指定出国留学培训部参加相关语种培训并获得结业证书(英语为高级班,法语为中级班);
5.参加雅思(学术类)、托福考试,达到雅思6.5分,托福95分。参加法语水平考试,达到欧洲统一语言参考框架(CECRL)的B2级;
6.通过阿尔伯塔组织的面试、考试等方式达到其语言要求(应在外方邀请信中注明或单独出具证明)。
留学人员须于派出前达到外语条件。
(五)暂不受理以下人员的申请:
1.已获得国外全额奖学金资助;
2.已获得国家公派留学资格且在有效期内;
3.已申报国家公派出国留学项目尚未公布录取结果;
4.曾获得国家公派留学资格,未经国家留学基金委批准擅自放弃且时间在5年以内,或经国家留学基金委批准放弃且时间在2年以内;
5.曾享受国家留学基金资助出国留学、回国后服务尚不满五年。项目有特殊规定的,按相关规定执行。
二、选派领域及实习内容
(一)专业领域主要包括但不仅限于以下学科:工程学、数学、物理学、化学、计算机科学、生命科学、临床医学与人文社会科学等。
(二)实习内容主要包括:
1.跟随导师进行相关科研课题实习;
2.参加跨文化交流等方面的研讨会;
3.以报告会形式展示研究成果;
4.与来自其他国家的学生开展交流活动。
三、实习期限、资助方式及内容
1.实习期限为3个月。
2.国家留学基金按照国家公派留学奖学金标准提供实习期间的生活费、一次往返国际旅费及签证申请费;
阿尔伯塔将承担学生使用图书馆、电脑及科研设施的费用,并提供相关后勤保障。
四、选拔办法及时间安排
(一)接此通知后,请各单位即根据阿尔伯塔提供的可申请课题列表进行选拔推荐,每校推荐人数不限但尽量避免集中于某个专业。推荐人员名单须在校内公示。
(二)请通知被推荐人于2017年3月5日前登录阿尔伯塔网站进行网上报名。www.international.ualberta.ca/InternationalServices/StudentMobilityIncoming/uarecsc.aspx
(三)请统一组织被推荐人选于2017年2月25日—3月5日期间登录国家公派留学信息管理平台进行网上报名(http://apply.csc.edu.cn)。
网上报名时“申报项目名称”请选择“与加拿大阿尔伯塔大学本科生实习合作奖学金”,“受理单位名称”请选择现就读院校。导师信息请按照向阿尔伯塔申请的第一志愿填写。
(四)请于2017年3月10日前将单位推荐公函及推荐人员名单寄(送)至国家留学基金委美大事务部。
国家留学基金委不受理个人申请。
五、评审与录取
国家留学基金委将对各单位推荐人选进行材料审核,并根据审核结果向阿尔伯塔推荐候选人,由阿尔伯塔对其进行评审并确定录取人员名单及课题、导师安排。国家留学基金委审核后录取。
本项目留学人员学习期满后,应按期回国并履行在国内工作、学习两年(以下简称服务期)的义务。服务期内可出国留学,但服务期顺延计算。留学人员按期回国后,再次申请国家公派出国攻读更高层次学位或进行联合培养时,不受回国后满五年方可再次申请国家公派出国留学的限制。
